  1. I’m feeling tingly all over! Lmao, I feel ya brother. She done the same damn thing to me. The band and her would build so well together. I think that piano player “Scott” is a genius. Great stuff

  2. You need to play her cover of take me to church unbelievable. She is juilliard-trained In classical voice. She has her own YouTube channel. She has an impressive career

  3. Dude! I'm right there with you. I just discovered her a couple months ago, and there's absolutely no telling how many times I've played this. My favorites (besides this one): All About That Bass, Take Me to Church, Fooled Around and Fell in Love, Maps, Dear Prudence. There are literally hundreds more

Sublime. Brilliant. Uplifting. Heart-rending…not enough words.

  4. Plus she's gorgeous!🥰 She's also a beautiful soul.❤ She has a wonderful interview with "The Charismatic Voice" you should check out! She's NEVER tuned, in fact, she will refuse any project that intends to use any tuning, at any point, with respect to her vocals. Paul is correct, she is classically trained, and very technically proficient. However, she has shown a remarkable ability to present the same technically proficient skills across several musical genres, including musical theater. She and PMJ do a really fun spin of "Barbie Girl". For some fun and AMAZING eye candy, checkout her European gig with the "Skivvies"! Here she sings "Burning Girl" in red lingerie and a fire helmet.😀 She's a giver!🤣✌

  5. Look up "The Charismatic Voice (Elizabeth Zaroff's page). She did an hour+ interview with Morgan.

She is so down to earth.Went to Juilliard, didn't want to sing opera. Tried Musical theater, but that wasn't what she wanted either. So she and her husband went out on the road. She has released multiple Albums and travels just about every weekend.
    Please check out the interview!

  6. Tom…good for you…Don’t feel bad…Morgan is a professional American singer. Her range is at least a 3 octave ranger… Just subscribed to your channel…..Judy D from NY State.

  7. I am so glad you reacted to Morgan James and recognized all the work she's put in, she's one of the few that can stand next to Floor in conversations of the greatest current female vocalists! I'm sure you've been told she was Julliard trained. I've known her since she was on Broadway and you won't find anyone that works harder than her, she still has vocal classes once a week. I hope you will want to listen (react) to more of her…I've compiled sort of a "greatest hits" list for you…but to be honest there really is just SO MUCH MORE!!!

And for a real special treat, in this live performance from Paris, she does a "call and response" section with Doug her husband, and guitarist, where she really stretches her range to a D#6!!!

  8. Haley Reinhardt + Morgan James (& Hubby)- "Dear Prudence" (Beatles). Just hanging out and dueting. Holy- ! Yes. Yes, you MUST view it. Look under Morgan James dear Prudence. Do it, Bro!

  9. You need to hear Morgan and Haley sing "Dear Prudence". Just the two of them on a couch with one guitarist. Also Morgan slays "Really don't Care" with PMJ and Haley kills with "Love Fool" and PMJ. Morgan James trained for opera at Julliard.

  10. Scott Bradlee, pianist and arranger/genius mastermind of his PMJ project. Single camera live, unaltered with a under the radar stellar rotation of the musical elite. Try getting into the PMJ catalog and not just the same popular tracks everyone reacts too. Hint: Purple Rain w/ Miche Braden or Abba’s Dancing Queen w/ Gunhild Carling. Enjoy👍

  11. That was pretty much my first reaction. "Call my name" Morgan James singing the line "making love." may change your whole week. Make sure you're sitting down.

  12. After hearing both songs a ton of times, I still cannot decide if my favorite PMJ cover is this one or Creep. There are many other great covers by this band (check out Haley Seven Nation Army or Black Hole Sun, Morgan Take Me To Church or Maps, or both of them All About That Bass) but the first 2 you reacted to are the 2 best in my opinion.

  13. absolutely, both PMJ and Morgan James are each awesome! too many to link. thanks for the reaction, very interesting;) interesting, as my angle is a bit exotic (I'm from germany). ran into her work couple of years ago by chance, it's incredible broad spectrum. Maps is brilliant. but I just love her soul stuff, from the Aretha Franklin acoustic cover "Baby I Love You" to the Memphis Magnetic album, eg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTyva2PGLkk

  14. PMJ has SO MANY great covers!!!
The way they take modern rock and pop songs, and turn them into songs that sound like they're from the 40s and 50s and 60s is simply amazing!!!
And all PMJ songs have one main thing in common: Scott Bradlee on the piano!!!

  15. Morgan is all class. Glad you feel the same way after one song. She now has quite a large catalogue available since her PMJ touring days – including covers, musicals, regular live online performances, concerts and original albums – all worth checking out. Some of my favourite covers on YT are "I'm not the only one", "Take me to church", "Sledgehammer", "Dear Prudence" with Haley, and the whole Beatles White Album in one performance!

  16. To hear another fantastic voice in PMJ, give a listen to Melinda Doolittle singing "Toxic" a Britney Spears cover. She is unbelievable and the band is on fire. Love your reaction. Stay safe.

  17. Great reaction! Watching your face was like watching someone fall in love at first sight hahahahaha. Morgan is indeed a brilliant singer and yes, the best cover of this song we will ever hear, I think.
