To all beloved women!
In 2019, when I was studying New Media (Liepaja University) in the 1st course, the task was to make a remake of an artist. I chose Martha Rosler’s humorous and irony work “Semiotics Of The Kitchen” (1975)! She takes a journey through the alphabet, until the last few letter, with an excellent sense of time and humorous gestures naming a tools of the kitchen. For me, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn English. In my way of performance, it looks a bit like a parody, but it expresses a love for women’s wit, a force in the hands of which any tool can become a weapon, or in other words – stereotyping a woman can become dangerous. :))
