If we can create equipment that observes different space to ours…….? Equipment is all important – more important than intellectual theorizing and speculation!
Give me the hard facts about life after death – not harps, angels and clouds!
We need physics equipment that shows us what happens to matter when it perishes.
What happens when an insect dies? Is there equipment that can observe the atoms and what they do?
We know atoms from people who died centuries ago are in our bodies TODAY!
What if we focused our attention on what is happening versus what "may" happen? What if heaven was now?

Maybe it could be said that our bodies are a virtual reality suit that we need to put on so we can interact in this earthly virtual reality life.
The brain isn't necessary for us to have consciousness, but it is necessary to function and interact in this physical realm.
If our brains and body where all mechanical, there would not be much mystery. However, quantum physics delves into the realm of subatomic particles, i.e. electrons. Our entire cognitive ability is electrical, thus our brain definitively relies on elements of quantum physics.
Each neuron is a brain so to speak in itself…4:25 and goes on to explain that our brains operate at both, classical and quantum levels…

An experiment has been published that disproves the consciousness interpretation of quantum physics: R. H. S. Carpenter and A. J. Anderson, "The death of Schrodinger's cat and of consciousness-based quantum wave-function collapse," Annales de la Foundation Louis de Broglie 31, 45-54 (2006). The idea of the experiment is that a Schrodinger-cat-like experiment is carried out, and two observers then each get partial information about the outcome. Later, they put the two pieces of partial information together, whereupon both observers become conscious of the experiment's outcome. The question then is, when did the collapse occur? Was it at the time of the experiment (when nobody was conscious of the outcome), or later (when Carpenter and Anderson became conscious of the outcome)? They did a series of trials of the experiment. well there's a flaw in his theory around 8:20. We don't have free will, but we do have consciousness.

justin Case have you ever thought to question the so called proven facts of "science". what we know about science has been fed to us/ the masses just like religion is fed to the masses. Just because it has been labelled as "science" doesnt mean it is correct. You may be just as guilty as the Jesus Joes as having suspended learning and education. An open mind is willing to question everything and consider all posibilities.

Stuart Hameroff's original proposal was about quantum effects in microtubules in the brain. claiming consciousness is separate to the body and maybe he is right but the brain controls thought, memory and senses. imagine life after death with no memory, no thought and no senses just an overall 'being of nothingness' it's a terrifying thought in my mind and despite the fact oblivion also scares me i prefer it over the suggestion of an ever lasting consciousness.

To be more specific, will I retain memory after death. Will I remember people and events from my life and will be able to know what's happening to the people I love?
Ok, I need some input. If consciousness continues after death, we ARE aware of it right? Or is it like our "energy" continues but death is still just blackness and nothing.

Emerson spoke of an "over soul"… others have called it "universal consciousness" so my conclusion would be that we are being lived… none of this exist other than in our minds… when our play has ended we go back to that from whence we came… i like the way "Tom Campbell" sums it up… life is merely "virtual reality"…

To his end of his speech it kind of goes off sense, ppl can gain the sense of quantum theory of molecules ranging the universe is made of them, hard to determine re-action vs actions for we can't see it at such a grand scale yet. If one goes smaller you start ranging from particles which consists of ions / protons / neutrons but if you go smaller it consists of string theory/super string theory at that level its all guesses so far, back up a few levels, the human race is beginning to build the blueprints of Quantum theory. Back to the conscious part he may be right, but explained it terribly, for everything in the Universe is recycled, wait a minute you ask Universe? we live amongst a Multi-verse …. well to my theory. All of it together is a Universe an its just bigger then we can even comprehend. That the Universe didn't just happen once their was multi explosions in the one big bang. But what happens if the Big Bang has happened more then once, not the explosions but thee event. Putting it all as sets in a grander much bigger scale/ occupying more then one trans dimensional area, making that whole spectrum of trans dimensional area the universe , THATS WHAT I CALL THE UNIVERSE. If that's the case, we simply might be recycled, in that sense we might not be wary what passes by us for no brain/data to output an intelligence/memory as such. It would like being a rock/material object? But this is all theory, nothings proven truly yet.
