Is this the correct way to think about physics and the physical world? What is information? What does the term “information” even mean? What role does information play in quantum gravity, cosmology, thermodynamics, life and consciousness, and what links does it provide between these areas?

I have a question. Let's say after a googol number of years all of the energy in the universe will have dissipated and thus no energy will be available to do work. What will happen to the information content of the universe with no available energy to do work?
