Dil is a Telugu film released in year 2003 which starred Nitin, Neha and Prakash Raj in lead roles. This movie was directed and produced by deubutants V.V. Vinayak and Dil Raju.
The story is about Seenu (Nitin) who is a new student at a college. Nandini (Neha) also joins the same college. Nandini is the only daughter of Gowri Shankar (Prakash Raj), who is big mafia don and Seenu is from a middle class family. One day, Gowri Shankar suspects them to be lovers after he finds them dancing at the freshers celebration at school. Seenu is beaten down brutually on the fresher party night, and this leads him to challenge to win Nandini’s love. After several attempts, she finally starts loving him. They elope and get married when Gowri Shankar tries to separate them. The story takes several turns before the movie ends in a happy note.
