I am inspired by matisse's paintings. These paintings encourages me to be free and bold about my art work. And that my art should be the symbolism of my self. Not for other people.
Its so sad that people in his time were unappreciative of these paintings. They made fun of it?! I cant imagine how much it would hurt me. I would've cried. But now,all styles of painting are all appreciated. Thanks to these painters who made sacrifices for modern art!!!!
