  1. Ms. Souza certainly understands digital painting! This was very enjoyable. It's a good example of layering, coloring, glazing, and texturing. Please keep these tutorials coming.

  2. Isis, absolutely excellent presentation. Exactly what I have been hoping to find. I have always loved creating imaginary creatures, but always struggled with the realistic human. While I have seen others who import a photograph and then work on layers to modify, your technique is genius (not to mention Corel Painter genius and all those behind the complexity and brush variations, and colour selections). I often have a conflict and can't attend the webinar, but thank Heavens Corel and Tanya convert it to a Free…Youtube available the day after the webinar. I am a Linkedin Moderator of the Corel Painter Group with Skip Allen, and usually post an invitation to the Webinars for group member updates. I have already posted a link to Isis today. Microsoft have altered how groups work, so it says it is visible to anyone, whether they are Linkedin or not. Thank you, Isis, great presentation.

  3. Corel many thank yous for your ingenious software. Anyone wondering if this is worth the investment, yes indeed. In 2003, I first invested in Corel Painter 8 which came as a special package along with an 18 inch Wacom Intuos 2 Tablet. I am a retired teacher, an author of fairy tales, science, and mystery for children and adults. I was astounded at the genius design of all of it. It is adaptable to any kind of art, from Da Vinci to Salvador Dali…or Disney/Warner cartoon designs of imaginary creatures. Book cover design. You can import an actual photograph (example waterfall) and add your own creatures, or begin totally from scratch. I kept both Painter 8 and 12 and the same Wacom Tablet made in Japan, and all still work (another test of quality). The Wacom cannot upgrade higher than Windows 7, but everything still works perfectly, and I had a terabyte HP lowered to Windows 7. When I work on imaginary creatures, I do a basic black outline for example…a sketch of a cartoon dragon or elephant, and then save that as a set of outlines. This way you can now design the background totally differently, change the colours of the creature, etc. Tease your creativity, and simply enjoy.

  4. Hello everyone! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for attending the webinar and for your amazing support! I had a great time with you all! And also a big THANK YOU to Tanya and Painter for this awesome opportunity! 🙂
