Over the past four years, headlines warned us that a wave of joblessness is coming. They claim that advances in robotics, machine learning, and automation are ushering in an era of unprecedented change. Do these concerns reflect reality?
Some claim that we have seen this story before, and that we have nothing to worry about. Others think that this time is different, and that we’re about to experience the most dramatic shift in modern economic history, one for which we are not prepared. But what is the real risk of technological unemployment? How will it affect the job market, recruitment, and the economy at large?
In this presentation, Federico Pistono separated the myths from reality by presenting the state of the art and forecasts of machine intelligence and its economic impact.

robots will steal your life, not only your jobs, so prepare your gas masks and your wrenches , cause its going down
nice presentation but some of the job losses are completely wrong and out dated information. for example 80% of fashion designer jobs will be replaced by Artificial intelligence within 20 years

We must destroy capitalist wage slavery ASAP! All people should OWN all things! How could anyone fear doing everything right??? How can anyone fear God's Perfect WAY?! Perfection will be Perfect! Basic income for people worldwide! Redistribute money equally worldwide! Say the only legal Way to do business is MLM, make everyone join for free! Then make every nation start building Tower cities connected to Trains to SAVE THE EARTH!
I think that the future is on us, we will be good if we will be able to change or we will be bad if we will not change, I'm experimenting now dry fasting after 5 years of fruitarianism/clean eating, and I'm amazed to see everyday that my body the less is obstructed and the less it needs and the better it works, it's plenty of studies that says that the less and simple you eat and the better you live, imagine that most of the work that we are doing is to pay food and rent, then if you can clean your body and adapt to a new kind of lifestyle more balanced, more conscious of "the less is more" than we will survive and we will not need to find new jobs to replace the others because we will not need to work anymore, otherwise if we will stick on the selfishness by keep wasting things, time, life and not thinking about the environment than we will see a future where instead of capitalism and socialism we will have pro or anti machines politicians that will destroy their people just for power(same old story)
Not even two years later and we have a running back flipping robot.
