  1. I think around the world first thing to get rid of is Weapons, Hatred, Ensuring my own race lives on earth, Racism, borders, Dictatorship, war with other nations to gather resources. And develop sense of unity and recognizing we are all humans. Having more of money, things, power will not make me happy.

  2. You don't need a 1000 friends on Facebook; you need a few good friends that bring value to your life.
You don't want a million Likes and followers on Instagram; you want to do work which can change the lives of people irreversibly for the better.
    Lose Social Media. Go Minimalist

  3. Yea i am going to try hard ti never have a memory of any thing that happend in last 10 yrs. . all.redelit-go4get. The ted talks help .

  4. I don’t understand why people keep things for so long. I always get rid of stuff I don’t need. I give it away to charity or sell it. I hate clutter. Less is more!

  5. Did you ever think when the hurse rolls by, that you would be the next one to die?
They’ll wrap you in a sheet and put you under, about six feet.
The worms will crawl in and the worms will crawl out, and the worms will play penuckle on your snout.
When your eyes are all sunken and turn kind of green, Pus will fly out on whipping cream.

  6. I will do whatever I want with what I have. No 'punks' like these will tell me what to do. I didn't even have to hear them talk. You don't want 'stuff', donate it to the poor. You want everything to be the same for everyone working or not working, go live in Cuba or Venezuela. Sayonara!

  7. I love this whole concept: love people and use things. A few years ago, a friend of mine passed away and as I stood there in the remnants of his life watching his daughter overwhelmed with his clutter and battling her emotional ties to it, I made a decision to never put my children in that situation. Since then, I've learned to let go and I continue to do so. You are not your things. You can be so much more and people can see you more clearly when your things are not in the way.

  8. Great presentation and real challenge to most people. Only maturity and age may compel few to see the lessons given in this one. The Minimalists have seen it relatively in younger age. I have seen it living for many decades later in life. It's a valuable lesson but rarely learned early in life. The next stage would be in the mental and intellectual domain with one's unseen and life challenges. Achieving inner growth, awareness, and spiritual consciousness, peace of mind, harmony, etc. That one can be found in "Let Go, Let God". When one is able to achieve both…quality of life will improve. Life is the gift that humans can fully enjoy no matter at what age. It usually comes late because it takes time and to those who do the take the challenge in life. Material belongings are fun for a while yet they are not lasting. The real values in humans are are in human relationships and sharing. Feelings of love, empathy, compassion, caring, serving, etc.. Being and feeling connected to your Source gives the best assurance and guidance. Only then, one can see and enjoy the gift of life and the beauty around in Nature and the Intelligent Universe.

  9. Wealth is wisdom. Happiness is not in things but in all that we cannot see, forgiveness, kindness, unconditional love, understanding, generosity, hugs, kisses, smiling at nature, embracing the planet, protecting its species.

  10. Wow.I don't tear up easily. This made me cry when he said he went back to Ohio with a painting, a few pics and one of his mom's doilies. Then It made me realize, at the end, that I need more people in my life, not stuff.

  11. Try to be a minimalist with kids lol.. but great message. I got it quick. I didn’t have much as a kid, we were poor. Lost my father at nine years old. And I have a 13 year old son with an ex partner. I hold onto every piece of paper and thing we’ve collected meaning my son and I over 14 years. I guess it’s for the memories, everything I ever had I save. This really hits home as I sit here wondering why I really hold onto everything. Fear of loss… possibly. I’ll ponder for awhile.

  12. Just think of this if we as society just discarded everything we would have no connection to our ancestors and history. We can also learn and appreciate what those before us valued in ownership.

  13. Hah! He said, (Right?).
People just don’t know. How easy it is to become…
He spoke about mom and, I had to bow my head.
My daughter said she was going to give it all away. That’s when I thought, why should she get that joy. 💡!!!
I still have JIC syndrome… one box at a time.

  14. This video is one of the most poignant and deeply moving videos I think I’ve ever watched thus far. It totally resonates with me and answers some of the questions I’ve been wrestling with for a long time. Thanks so much…

  15. How is it that so many people are still putting their trust in a horrible failed ridiculous medical system that kills millions a year. Watch the documentary Cut, Burn, and Poison. and the Gerson Miracle. Get a free consultation from the Oasis of Hope in Tijuana Mexico, they have great natural treatments used world wide. I just watched some videos here talking about a dog wormer, panacur C curing cancer in many people. No, a cheap, easy treatment couldn't work… not true according to many people. I would try it since it can not hurt …no matter what the drug company doctors say.

  16. Dude 1: Hey bro! Let’s start doing Ted Talks advocating minimalism!
Dude 2: awesome! So first… we are going to need a buttload of props to carry on stage with us…

  17. Vaccines kill, paralyze, cause cancer, diabetes, lupus, seizures, autism, arthritis, Alzheimer’s. The viruses are grown on aborted baby cell lines and contain human DNA, as well as animal cell lines and animal DNA. They contain aluminum, Mercury, formaldehyde, MSG, glyphosate, polysorbate 80, antibiotics. Please people, wake up! We must stop injecting our precious babies, we must stop mandatory laws. We must save our future generation from a lifetime of suffering. Watch high wire with Del Bigtree for more information. May God bless our babies!

  18. i have started this process 5 months ago , still continuing, its so liberating. in knowing the peace it brings.

how is it possible to have soooo many credit cards , that's insane in South Africa you will only get maybe 2-3

  19. The bigger question for me is: Would you also be willing to let go of money that you think is yours because it was earned by people who spent on things they didn't need? Corporate CEOs, techies, have money they don't have time to spend in their lives because they couldn't spend it as fast as they make it. Would they be willing to let some of that go so it could go back into circulation to those for whom it would certainly add a great deal of value because they don't have enough cash to eat, pay rent, or to clothe their children?

  20. No one likes to talk about death… but it ultimately comes and it’s the destroyer of all pleasures….. la ilaha ila Allah
