  1. if you help, you'll be involved in a crime.
    so don't
you have your own family to feed
    you end lives
    you end plants lives
    you end animals lives
nobody cares about you. so you don't either.
    life is life.
    selfish, not precious.

  2. I was once being attacked by two men for an hour. Thousands of people walked passed, some even stopped to watch. One man had me in a headlock. He chocked me until I almost pass out. He relaxed his arm for a brief second, so I could gasp for air. He constantly did this. The men got bored, they wanted to take me to a park. But I put up a fight. They let me go. People always say to me "why didn't you tell for help?" How do you yell when being choked? How do you yell when you only have enough time to gasp for air? Seriously if you don't want to step up, call someone that will.
I believe I was targeted because I had just came out of hospital. I had an operation on my foot. My foot was still numb from the operation. As I walked I began to feel intense pain. I thought the two men were going to help me. Because they came up to me smiling asking "how are you?"

  3. 25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

    Luke 10:25-37

  4. The reaction one should have is to decide to emulate Christ, and choose to be not driven by the crowd mentality. A lesson from this video. I hope if put in this situation that I will react appropriately.

  5. Nobody just lies down holds their tummy and yells "help me".
I too would assume that the guy is either an actor or a tweaker or something.
    He was just so unconvincing.

  6. I was riding my bike in a highly turistic lake in italy, I fell and slammed into the ravine, a giant gaping hole in my knee, blood everywhere and a trail behind me I limped all the way to a bar shouting for help but no one did anything, countless tourists just passed me by as if I was invisible.
I sat down at a table pretending to be a customer, only THEN one of the workers saw the state I was in and asked if I wanted them to call an ambulance.

It was then that I learned that humans are the lowest scum of the earth.

  7. We in a world of acceptance towards drink, drugs and mental illness. Therefore in the REAL world this sight is all to common on the streets and the person would probably turn on you resulting in an injury to yourself. I've seen it happen to normal people and paramedics which is why I'd stay away, so this whole do as everyone does is nonsense.

  8. Damn. That's really effed up how majority of people are these days. No for real. This isn't something acceptable. At least I level this way. A least 🙁

  9. I am so happy to have been born and bred in a normal part of the world. I am so proud to be European! I love Europe, morals, ethics, freedom of speech, education. I adore my Europe! I don't want to leave my Europe!

  10. it’s quite obvious I think. for me seeing people like this most likely means that they’re drunk. I’ve tried to help a drunk woman once and she didn’t appreciate it at all because she wasn’t herself that time. plus some drunk people are pretty dangerous. so it does depend on the situation, unfortunately.

  11. That example with the woman was quite different to the man's scenario. She simply looks like she's gone to sleep in a odd place. Whilst the guy was moaning "Help" repeatedly in a much more obvious 'distress' position. Would of liked a bit more consistency.

  12. This frustrates me so much. I always stop to check if someone needs help nicely/politely if someone seems in distress, like if they're crying, passed out, on the ground or in any way looking like they need it. It's just common basic courtesy and conscientiousness and I cannot remotely understand people who do this.

I live in the place where trainspotting is set, and you'll often find people passed out everywhere and the easy way to think is "oh they're just drunk/high" – but does that mean they're unworthy of concern or help? They're even more vulnerable. The other week there was a woman passed out on a bench with her phone in her limp hand. She could have been dead or OD'd and all these people were walking past her, I did notice that as soon as I went to check, as it did in this video, it created a ripple of people silently making eye contact and mouthing "is she okay?" with me, or coming over and being a busybody at last. Or about a month ago an old man who had had a beer too many fell at a crossing and nobody else helped to get him up and just watched on as I struggled desperately to help this elderly man to his feet. I made sure to walk him home because I couldn't trust if he fell again, anybody would help him, and given that it was icy on the roads, he could have been hit.

People who just ignore this stuff baffle me. How can you consider yourself a decent human being and not?

Next time you go past, just remember this person could be dying, and the choice of checking to make sure they're okay could be what gets them help in time to save their life. Or they could already be dead, and you just walked past a dead person on the street and ignored them because it was inconvenient.

  13. Im proud of being one of the few who has actually taken action and walked over to someone looking ill on the sidewalk. Also has gone over to a drunk or two to make sure they are alright.

  14. To be honest I wouldn't walk to help them, people now are fucking INSANE, people doing meth or any type of unknown drug and we don't know if we'd be in more trouble helping them. The whole dressing professional vs dressing like a hobo is a great way of how real life is, and tbh I don't blame them
