  1. A MUST WATCH Video Explaining The TM-(Transcendental Meditation) In The Light Of Quantum Mechanics , By The Quantum Physicist-JOHN HAGELIN…….

  2. Carl Jung's concept of Self helped me to reach higher level of consciousness in one day …before i read that i never read one single book nor i have any education

  3. I learned TM in 1972, and have practiced the technique very regularly since then for one and only one reason….it works. That is, I experienced a progressive growth of mind, emotional well being and effectiveness in activity and inner happiness. The interesting thing about the happiness, is that it is less and less dependent on what happens outside myself…the circumstances that occur every day. Negativity has less and less ability to overshadow this growing inner happiness. It's not that I'm not motivated to deal with things, it's just that I'm able to maintain a positive inner feeling in the face of stressors, which actually allows me to be more effective in activity. I recommend that, if you want to learn, go to http://www.tm.org and get reliable information and where to find a trained, responsible teacher. Pay the fee (which, nowadays, comes with a money back guarantee, as long as you complete the recommended training schedule)…the amount is marginal relative to the benefits you will derive from regular, correct practice. Good luck.

  4. Simply close your eyes and quiet your mind you all sound so negative that I'm surprised that you are ever learned how to operate a keyboard to make such a statement. All of us pay for our education and many of us continue to do so. Someone developed these ideas for themselves or himself. You may even go to church every Sunday to hear the word of God from the mouthpiece of our pastors and reverends. And that too is a non-for-profit. So what's your complaint about the church making money do they too sell the word of God for a prophet.??

  5. I'm posting my comment with genuine concern and not judgement. Confusion, maybe… but not judgement. And I'm not inviting a debate- just my perspective. Which is this: just because someone is performing a "spiritual" job doesn't mean they shouldn't get paid. Everyone complaining about paying for learning this incredible technique, answer these questions: who should pay for the extensive training the instructors must undergo in order to teach TM? Who should pay the trainers who train them? Who should pay the TM Instructors' paycheck so they can eat, drive, pay their bills? It takes technology, time, and intelligence as well as other resources (office space, air conditioning, electricity, transportation… and a dozen other costs) to run any organization; TM is no different in this respect. Who should pay these costs? I learned TM a month ago and it's changed my life. My instructor is very dedicated and knowledgeable. She's not selfish. She's not "out to get me" or "make a fast buck." I don't get why anyone would think for one minute that she should teach me or anyone else for free. She's performing a real job in a real world. TM is very inexpensive to learn and implement- compared to the thousands upon thousands of dollars it costs to treat heart disease, diabetes, or PTSD, etc. You don't think twice about going to a doctor or other health practitioner whose treatment often gives you less savory results than TM. "Spiritual teacher" does not equal "vagrant." Peace!

  6. I have tried every possible way to find a TM class in Columbus, OH but I can not afford even a fraction of the fees. It is amazing that classes are not offered by insurance companies or by the universities or hospitals or church groups and whatever. If what Hagelin says is true then why is it so difficult to find? If TM is as miraculous as so many testify about it seems to me it would be available all over the place. Why not have state and federal and corporate courses available at least at reasonable fees for people like me on fixed income? It don't make no sense.

  7. I have done meditation before many times and I can tell you that it is helpful and that many successful people including billionaires have used it to help them achieve their goals.

  8. Can I do the likes of 'Chakra Healing Meditations' along with my TM sessions? Like the TM session morning and evening and the Chakra Healing Meditation in between the two, or right before bed?

  9. I learned the system in 1973 in Columbus,Oh. for $75. It was $30 for students at that time, which I was not. Looking back, what a great deal. What he says is true & I do not even know this guy.

  10. I have been practicing TM for 40 years. Sucessful meditation for me, is coming out of it, without having any awareness of where the last twenty minutes went. Imagine how refreshing it must be for 20 minutes to have no internal dialogue, no problems, no stress. If you have difficulty going to sleep at night because you are all wound up about something, I use the same method to clear out my mind and drift off to sleep. Some people here complain about the fees, but I would not try to do it on the cheap. I have tried to teach my friends with out great effect and in the future I recommend that they go to a pro and pay the fee.

  11. Why is this not mandatory and taught in every grammer school free, especially if you want an enlightened society. Maybe there would be less violence in society, including gun violence.

  12. Transcendental Meditation is shown in over 150 scientific studies to effectively reduce anxiety, improve focus and learning, and reduce physical and mental diseases. TM is easy and pleasant to do, but must be done properly (taught to you by a certified TM teacher) for these benefits. To put the cost in perspective, it costs less than therapy, and therapy cannot do the things TM is shown in scientific studies to do for physical and mental health.

  13. What would we think of if we were born into a void , with no other people to influence us, poison our minds, and left alone to just be within.our own minds. Like being deaf dumb and blind.

  14. Simply eating correctly – i.e. adopting a whole foods, plant-based diet – can provide all the benefits that Hagelin claims are exclusive to TM alone, and in most cases, notably diseases like cancer and diabetes, can surpass its effectiveness. Not to say that TM isn't worth while – but the sales pitch seems a bit disingenuous at times, comparing TM only to pharmaceuticals which everyone knows are 1) mostly ineffective and 2) extremely hazardous.
He also doesn't describe superstring theory correctly, which is a bit worrying. It's not even a scientific theory, because it cannot be tested/invalidated. It's just an idea with currently no basis in reality, no more compelling than believing that unicorns govern the flow of time.

  15. John Hagelin is one of my heroes. I voted for him three times when he ran for President under the Natural Law Party. What I love about Hagelin is that he has the scientific background which enables him to clearly explain on an intellectual level what TM is and how it works. But the best testimony comes from kids in inner city schools; or veterans suffering from PSTD; or young autistic kids, or prisoners who've benefited from learning the technique. It works.

  16. Provoking, perhaps, but classical transcendentalism teaches that one should find their own inner peace with the "natural gods" (not actual gods, mind you, it's more about the beauty of nature. See: Hudson River School of Painters).
The whole point of transcendentalism is to learn by oneself. Teaching, let alone paying for a transcendentalist lecture kind-of circumnavigates the whole point of the movement.

This is certainly… um… Interesting? But it isn't transcendentalism. It's just some guy wowing a bunch of slack-jawed droolies with big words and fancy diagrams.

  17. Other than the entire right side of the mind having been obliterated by atrophy; so all creativity, tenderness, beauty, reason, joy, happiness, nobility, kindness is gone, hey, this is great stuff.  Calm down; you too can do the important stuff, build a career before your heart attack comes, and well, "you can't take it with you"  so, having NOT come off the wheel of reincarnation, you might want to avoid the white light when you die, because it is the birth canal….maybe being a confused ghost would be better, because there is no physical pain, only psychic pain…good job kids

  18. I love that the only way to understand the path is to abandon paths…yet we create charts and tables to come to the conclusion that charts and tables get you no closer to realization and on and on and on and on and on

  19. I have been a TM practitioner for over 11 years, regular practice creates the brain coherence outside of the meditation. It is useful and I highly recommend it to everyone. You enjoy life outside of the meditation more than even when you are in the meditation because you get rid of stress during the meditation. It is a simple, natural technique anyone and everyone can do, there are meta-analyses done at Stamford University that prove the benefits of this so work with a teacher as soon as you can. You can go to TM.org and find a teacher in your area.

  20. No question about the importance of meditation. However, charging thousands of dollars for simple tool is too much to digest. There is nothing special about TM.
